Redwood City School District – Measure H

Measure H is an essential local funding measure (Parcel Tax of $149/parcel for 12 years) for Redwood City elementary and middle schools appearing on the November 5, 2019 ballot. As one of the lowest funded districts in the County, Redwood City School District needs an additional source of local revenue to protect academic programs and keep highly-qualified teachers in classrooms.

Measure H provides stable, local funding to:

  • Attract and retain highly-qualified teachers
  • Support reading and writing skills
  • Maintain science, technology, engineering and math instruction
  • Reduce class sizes in kindergarten and first grade

Senior exemption will be available.  Citizen Bond Oversight Committee will monitor expenditures from the parcel tax to ensure that the funding is spent in accordance with the measure.
