We Vote Redwood City

We Vote Redwood City is a grassroots, nonpartisan partnership between community based organizations, civic leaders,
and engaged citizens who want Redwood City’s government to be representative of all its residents by increasing voter
participation in Redwood City municipal elections. We believe that democracy works best when everyone participates.

The City Council is on the front lines of democracy, and local government is the most accessible and impactful form
of government to everyday citizens. Yet in Redwood City, only 31% of registered voters participated in the 2015 City
Council election.

Government works best when we all have a say. As a community we can do better.
